Swami Vivekananda
I am very happy to write about
India’s eminent personality and my ideal Swami Vivekananda in my first blog.
There are many books, many Google pages and many YouTube videos are available
on Swami Vivekananda, but here I would like to express Swamiji through my
perception in few words.
The name is enough to motivate
our young generation and that is Swami Vivekananda. Though they are not present
in this world, they always walk with me with their thoughts and blessings. As
we know that Swamiji was born on 12th January 1863 and died on 4th July 1902.
In this very short span of their life (Only 39 years), they have
contributed more to the society with dedication in the work of yoga,
meditation, education, character building, nation building and the list is
endless.
He was the perfect combination of
spirituality and education. More than 100 years before, they have written about
education in a very deep sense and that famous quote is- “Education is the manifestation
of perfection already in man.” How beautifully they have written about
character- “Neither money pays, nor name, nor fame, nor learning; it is
CHARACTER that can cleave through adamantine walls of difficulties.” There are
too many quotes and thoughts are available of Swamiji but we must have to
rethink on the philosophy of Swami Vivekananda that is- “Man making is my
mission.” and it is the real requirement of today’s world.
Words are less to speak and write about Swamiji but I would like to conclude my article with these two questions and answers.
What they taught me?
They taught me politeness,
positive attitude, perseverance, perfection, patience and purity also they
taught me to make introspection of ourselves in any situation; whether it is
bad phase or good phase.
What they gave me?
They gave me
only one thing and it is the Peace. Ultimately the every human being is in the
search of his divine destiny and that is only the Peace, not name, fame & money.
